Todd grabs lead with course record 63
Gator Todd shot a nine under par 63, a new competetive course record for the Governors Towne Club and has a one shot lead after the first round of the Hopkins Tour's Governors Towne Club Classic. A hot, muggy day and soft greens led to some incredible scoring as 36 players broke 70 today. Hopkins Tour Leading Money Winner Spence Fulford is in a tie for second place with Glenn Northcutt after both player shot 64. Chas Narramore, Daniel Bowden, Bryan Fox and Brian Richey all shot 65 and are two behind Todd entering tomorrow's second round.

Bray Fires Course Record 63, Blisters Field at Oak Mountain
Dustin Bray fired a course record tying nine under par 63 to finish at -21 for the tournament and capture the Hopkins Tour's Oak Mountain Classic in Carrollton,GA. Dustin won by nine shots for his second victory on the Hopkins Tour this year. For the week, Dustin finished with twenty birdies and one eagle against a lone bogey. He takes home $12,000 for the win. Kyle Scott finished in solo second place at twelve under par after a final round 66 today. Travis Hampshire was next at ten under par. Travis shot 67 today. Jimmy Brandt and Trey Denton round out the top 5 at -9. Jimmy shot 67 today, Trey shot 71.

Binfield Goes Wire to Wire for victory at Bradshaw Farm
Wade Binfield made his lone bogey of the tournament on the first hole of the final round but it was not enough to slow down his momentum as he went on to shoot a final round 68 and capture the Hopkins Tour's Woodstock Classic at The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm. This was Wade's 2nd victory of the season. Binfield finished at -18 for the event, good enough for a four shot victory. Adam Hart, Casey Johnson and Travis Hampshire all finished at -14 and in a tie for 2nd Place. Yoshio Yamamoto, Jin Chung and Kevin Roy all finished in a tie for 5th place at -11. Roy had a final round 64 that included a course record tying 29 on the front nine.

Garber cruises to 5 shot victory in Alpharetta
Former UGA Golfer Joey Garber shot a final round 68 to capture his first professional victory in the Hopkins Tour's Trophy Club Classic in Alpharetta. Garber finished with an impresssive 18 under par total for the tournament, good enough for a 5 shot victory. The recently named All American from the University of Georgia has had three starts as a professional - The Michigian Open where he finished 2nd, The PGA Tour's Travlers Championship last week and The Hopkins Tour event this week. A pretty impressive start to his professional career.

Thompson Birdies to Win in Playoff
Kyle Thompson fired a final round 66 and then birdied the first playoff hole to defeat Patrick Sheehan and capture the Hopkins Tour's Summer Grove Classic. Thompson had a one shot lead coming to the final hole but an errant drive left him under the lip of the fairway bunker. He was unable to secure a par and was forced into a playoff. Sheehan, who shot a final round 65 had a fifteen foot birdie opportunity in the playoff that just missed left. Thompson cooly tapped in his 3 footer for the win and the $15,000 first place prize.

Fulford Wins Again!!! 3rd Title of year with Monroe Classic Victory
Spence Fulford finished birdie,par, birdie to edge out Patrick Sheehan and capture the Hopkins Tour's Monroe Classic. Sheehan finished today with a six under par 64 and had the clubhouse lead when Fulford hit his 2nd shot on the par four final hole to within 6 inches. His tap in birdie gave him a one shot victory and his third title of the season on the Hopkins Tour. Spence has already amassed over $41,000 in winnings in 7 events on the tour. Bray Cruises To Callaway Gardens Classic Win
Dustin Bray looked like he was playing a totally different golf course than the rest of the field in the Hopkins Tour Callaway Gardens Classic. Bray shot a final round six under par 66 to finish at -22 for the tournament, good for a nine shot victory. Dustin began the day with a six shot lead and after a one under par 35 on the front, he birdied the tenth, then eaqled the eleventh hole. The deal was sealed at that point and Bray crusied home to the victory and the first place prize of $15,000. Patton Kizzire and Brian Richie shared second place. Wade Binfield shot a course record nine under par 63 to overcome a 5 shot deficit and capture the Hopkins Tour's Locust Grove Classic at Eagles Brooke Country Club. Binfield's round included ten birdies against one sole bogey. His ten under par total was good for a three shot victory. Wade takes home $12,000 with his victory. Kyle Scott was next in 2nd after a final round 68. Second round leader Jack Hiluta finished today with a 74 to come in a tie for third place with Brian Richey. Billy Shida and Tim O'Neal shared fifth place. Shida had a final round 70, O'Neal shot 71 today.

Fulford wins Orchard Hills Classic..2nd Title in 3 weeks.
Spence Fulford put it in high gear today. Starting the day with a 1 shot lead, Fulford eagled the opening hole, shot a four under 32 on the front nine and cruised to a two shot victory in the Orchard Hills Classic. Fulford's eighteen under par total ( his lowest career 54 hole total) earned him his second victory in 3 weeks on the Hopkins Tour. His $12,000 first place check vaulted him into the lead on the season's money list total. Spence has earned over $24,000 so far this season. Great playing. Tim O'Neal finshed yesterday's round with an thirteen under par total, good enough for a 2 shot lead heading into today's final round. Heavy rain moved into the area forcing the cancellation of today's final round. The tournament was shortned to 54 holes and O'Neal was declared the winner. Tim takes home the $15,000 first place prize. Travis Hampshire finished in second place. Chip Deason and Kyle Scott tied for third place, four shots behind O'Neal. Wade Binfield and Justin Lower finished tied for 5th.

Spence Fulford began today nine shots out of the lead at the Hopkins Tour Tifton Classic, just looking for a good round to make a decent check. He wound up making a very decent check! Spence eagled the first playoff hole to defeat Patton Kizzire and take home the $12,000 first place prize. Kizzire, who had set the Golf Club of South Georgia course record in the first round with a 63, fired a solid one under par 71 today but was stunned by the finish by Fulford. Daniel Bowden fired a final round six under par 66 to capture the Hopkins Tour's Valdosta Kick Off Classic at Valdosta Country Club. Bowden, who's father once was the Head Professional at Valdosta, used a back nine 31 to catch second round leader Wade Binfield.
